These pieces are woven from remainders of warps and other weavings which create geometric and textured shape in the weave. Balancing different kind of threads and techniques in the weave these abstract landscapes is a craft perfected by Susanna Costantini who have developed these unique, experimental weavings after years spent mastering their practice. As Susanna Costantini explains: "The practice of gleaning brings with it a moment of choice, you evaluate, you decide whether to let go, recovering or processing.”
