Blue American Agave
The majestic Blue American Agave, the giant of agavaceae, a family of robust plants whose fiber has been used for centuries to produce very resistant ropes and fabrics. From Agave Sisalana it comes sisal, a textile fiber of extraordinary tenacity, also resistant to salty water. Sisal ropes are sturdy and unfathomable, in fact they are widely used for fishing and agriculture.

Spinosa.
Spinosa is a tapestry created by weaving with a combination of sisal and paper yarn. This woven work is an experiment to put two opposites together: resistance and fragility. Sisal is an extremely water resistant fiber, paper fears water and can dissolve in it.
